I had the pleasure of working with these two talented gentlemen as this year comes to a close. The project was a great project for me because it incorporated another one of my passions... Motorcycles. But what made this project unique, is that the artist allowed me to pay respects to a dear friend that we had lost this year. People who know me, Know that when you have me as a friend, our friendship does not stop with the lights go out. I keep the show going.. And The Yung Godz allowed me to honor my friendship by doing a small memorial after their project. If you have ever lost somebody special to you, you can relate.. Today I had the pleasure of being on set with the talented and equally beautiful Kitami Safiya as we shoot her second video "Love My Love". My boy Dawud directed, John Kelley and Dave shared the work load as D.P., Tiffany Marie controlled the set as AD, And Tiffany Shepard knocked out the Make up. With the absence of Akeem I got a chance to do a little photo work. It was a very fun set, and I look forward to editing this project. Look for it in the near future...

Our Hearts go out to Blink & his family as well as In & Out Riderz. Somethings just shouldn't have happened. This is a sad example of the poor use of experience. I've been riding for a little over a decade, and every time I meet a new rider I wind up teaching them something that would prevent situations like this. We all need to take the time to forward advice and skill to other riders.

So a new rider hit me up today cause she pulled her bike out. I know everyone's going to "Try" to give me a hard time about her; but truth be told, she has more drive to ride than a lot of riders I know. She's determine to be on her two's and she is dedicated. Therefore I'm happy to have Glamma aboard. Now I cant for get my dude Bizzy, who came thru with his monster R1 and was stopping pedestrian & auto traffic and had the police breaking their necks while we were shooting. It's nice to have the public appreciate the art as well as the two's.. Until tomorrow people... Be safe!

Yesterday I did 5 photoshoots adding to the content to the infamous "How we ride" Pictumentary. It feels good when your work is admired by so many. The shoots were a bit different than normal cause I had the privilege of catering to some HDR shots and I mastered the art of night time shutter photography. I'm starting to enjoy developing new styles and techniques to accomplishing beautiful images just as much as I love reviewing my finished projects. I want to say Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project as well as everyone who helped make it happen. I'm a humble man so expect a lot of thanks in the future.... Thank you all.

I have been doing photography for quite some time and today I had the opportunity of trying a new technique, thanks to my good friend and fellow photographer Takim (Follow him on twitter @Blkakonda). I also had the privilege of having Kendell Stevens of "Kendell Stevens Photography" as my model. We kept the shoot local and took advantage of our beautiful surroundings we normally neglect day to day. Check out the shots above. I can not wait until the weather breaks and I can try these techniques under better circumstances.

Swizzy "Coolin"

Being in this industry you come across a lot of people, and even though this isn't my first time meeting Swizz this was my first time working with him in his environment. And I have to say this dude is truly a monster! If your scheduled to work with him i'm going to advise that you don't have anything else planned for that day and make sure your well rested cause this dude is a nuclear powered robot. That night Alicia saved my life cause i was on the verge of passing out when she came to get him out the studio.

While in the studio Swizz was working on the track "Coolin", but Eve wasn't on the track. (and i'm not really impressed with her verse). Snoop was actually on the track and the chemistry between the two lyrically was bananas! Hopefully they will release that as an official version and scrap Eve's whack ass verse! I think this song is going to be a hit!

"How we ride" The Pictumentary

As a lot of people have noticed I have been going hard, doing a lot of shoots with bikers. Well I will tell you the concept behind these shots. Im working on a personal project that I am aiming to publish. The name of the project is "How We Ride" and because it is done in photo format I am referring to it as a pictumentary. (Yes I made that up.) I am almost done with the project as I had a limited amount of pages to fill. But being that I myself am a popular rider, more riders are hopping on board to be apart of the project. So I think Im going to reconstruct the entire project and take it the next level.

I had the pleasure of doing some camera work with my good friend MUNKY. We shot in Flatbush brooklyn on the south side of prospect park. It was another great shoot. I also had the opportunity to teach him how to do a burn out and get some shots of it. But the above photo will make the cut for the Photobook (which I will talk about during my next post).
